***Please note that due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, we are currently only offering blood tests and routine GP telephone appointments online.  Face to Face appointments with a GP are available to those patients who need a physical assessment and will be offered by your GP following an initial telephone call.  Most Face to Face appointments with a Nurse can now be booked directly via reception.***

 

If you already use our online services, and want to book or cancel an appointment, request a repeat prescription or view your medical records, click on PatientAccess or Evergreen Life, as appropriate.  You can now also download the official NHS App on your smartphone or tablet.

SERVICES AVAILABLE AND BENEFITS

The increasing availability of online GP services allows patients to take greater control over their health and care, and also reduces the administrative workload for GP practices. If you sign up to GP online services, you will be able to use a website or app to:

  • book or cancel GP or blood test appointments online;
  • order repeat prescriptions online;
  • view parts of your medical record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results; and
  • view clinical correspondence such as hospital discharge summaries, outpatient appointment letters and referral letters.

Not only does this save time, but it also means you can access your records from anywhere in the world. For example, if you are taken ill whilst in another country you could allow a doctor to see your medical history by logging in online.  You can help us keep your clinical records up-to-date by clicking on Update your clinical record.

 

ACCESSING THE ONLINE SERVICES

To sign up for access to the online services, click on Register for Online Access.  After you have done this, you will receive an E-mail which will give you all the information you need to register with your chosen provider.  For help selecting a provider to use, click on Service Providers

 

IS MY INFORMATION SECURE?

All information that is sent to your surgery via EMIS Access is secure. Your personal details are encrypted and protected using the highest standard internet security, so it cannot be intercepted. Only you and your GP surgery are able to see this information.

SERVICES NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE

Nurse appointments are not currently available online.  This is because each nurse has varying specialisms, and also because certain conditions may require longer appointments. In addition, evening and weekend appointments are not available online.  If you require a nurse appointment, or evening or weekend GP appointment, please call 01298 22338 and speak to our receptionists.
